Handmade watercolor made of extinct organic manufactured pigment.
Double Scarlet is a saturated, deep red, warm, with gentle burgundy undertones. It’s truly unique – it doesn’t look like any other red color in the shop. It has a barely noticeable texture that adds complexity and dimension to the washes. I find it very inspiring! (The pigment is extinct; it’s no longer manufactured. Once the existing stock is used, it will be gone forever.)
The color is highly saturated and rich. It is bright and transparent.
