The color is highly saturated and rich. It is lightfast and transparent.

Transparent Yellow is very similar to Mars Yellow in chroma, but it has different properties when it comes to painting and mixing these colors. Transparent Yellow is completely transparent (unlike opaque Mars Yellow) and it's more fine and delicate. It works great in mixes with multiple colors where you need a strong warm yellow but do not need heaviness, color separation, or mud.
