Sepia is a dark granulating brown with both brown and black particles, which makes this color rich and interesting. Sepia is great for monochrome painting, as well as mixing with other colors. The best part of this version of Sepia is that 1) it can replace any regular dark brown in a palette; 2) it is transparent and thus it will not cloud other colors in mixes; 3) it is granulating, which can add an interesting texture and dimension to all color mixes.
